West Virginia’s ninth annual College Application and Exploration Week will be held November 5 – 9, 2018.

What is it?

College Application and Exploration Week is one of CFWV’s three annual college-planning milestone events.*  Hundreds of elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and adult basic education classes across West Virginia participate each year.

College Application and Exploration Week is a chance for the entire school community to discuss college options and to promote college-going.

Counselors who register their school to participate by September 14, 2018, will receive a FREE event-planning toolkit!

Guidebooks will be available for digital download on the CFWV Resources microsite.

The College Application and Exploration Week celebration in 2017 featured 131 elementary schools, 110 middle schools, 122 high schools, and 5 adult basic education centers!

Registration for the 2018 celebration is now open! Register your school to participate by September 14, 2018.

* The statewide FAFSA Completion and College Decision Day campaigns make up the other two.

Note: We realize that Election Day this year falls during the time span of College Application & Exploration Week. The campaign is always set to begin the week following the conclusion of the statewide College Day Tour, which is organized by the West Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (WVACRAO).
