Cabell County Public Library Homework Help Center
We provide free homework help for students in grades K-12. The center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-6. Dedicated staff and friendly volunteers will be available to aid students with their homework. This includes any homework subject. The center will also have on-site school supplies, computers, printers, and library resources available. The Homework Help Center does not operate during the Cabell County school’s summer recess.
The center is operated by dedicated library staff and friendly volunteers from various community organizations. Some of which include: AmeriCorps, Marshall University Students, Cabell County Public Library Friends of the Library, retired teachers, etc.
The Homework Help Center is located on the fourth floor in the Youth Services Department at the Main Library.
Please call 304-528-5700 if your child needs help with a foreign language. We will attempt to meet all language requests.

Cabell County FRN is proud to launch our “Resources for Healthy Teeth Toolkit”. The information in the Toolkit is compiled to make it easy to access a variety of different materials to help parents and programs promote good oral health and help children have healthy teeth and smiles for life. Examples include: national children’s dental health campaign, tips for healthy teeth, find a dentist, lessons to use with students, and fun activities for children. This project is done in collaboration with Marshall University and DentaQuest foundation.
The 4-H Healthy Lifestyles Initiative for 2017 is Dental Health. Family Health Handouts for the program can be found at the following website: http://4-hyd.ext.wvu.edu/programs/healthy_lifestyles/2017-health-initiative. This resource contains monthly activities that families can do together to promote better dental health. In addition, the Cabell County Extension Office still has a limited supply of Dental Health Guides to share with parents, educators, and mentors. For more information, contact the 4-H Agent Autumn Starcher at the Cabell County Extension Office by phone at 304-743-7151 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
